I crawled against a jeep grand cherokee tonight at an official closed course track (chirping the tires into second). I had them by half a truck length up to 60 fpm before slowing down to scratch my ass.

Check the bottom of the runner for offroad abuse.
Make sure transmission is shifting well. Push it to see if it shifts smoothly. Hard shifts could be a potential problem in the near future.
Put it in reverse and listen for noises.
Check for any leaks. Leaks near the head would mean some labor hours for you.
Put it in 4WD. To make sure it engages, turn sharp at very low speed to feel the jumping.
Ask for service documentation. If he does maintenance on his own, ask them questions that would question their intelligence about runners and engines

Good luck. I hope you end up with another Toyota.

A small handful of select mods.
You know he wheeled it. You can see tire scuffs on the tires from rocks. It is more a matter if he maintained the suspension with the rest of the truck. If it were me buying it i would say i will give $10k and throw in the winch.

Good luck Hoyal. Hope it is a keeper.

Ive heard about this river wave, Been curious since i moved here from the east coast where i was surfing every day. Not sure i wanna take my fiberglass board down a river wave though. An epoxy board with more strength maybe!!!!

Some video's of a river wave in Germany look sick!!! Well at least i remember it being in germany, its been a long time since i saw the video

Yea I know he wheeled it, I said "depends on how hard he wheeled it"

Yea I don't know what kind of board they use. But they just stay in a single location on the river so no worry of hitting anything since it's deep enough. Funny seeing him drive around in Colorado with a surfboard on the roof
