why is slim wood saying they suck?

 

cuz they not the greatest and best? i dunno. mine work just fine. u dont always have to have the best specs on everything

 

true. so 35W is g2g.

 

I believe slim said that cause him went from 55w in stock housings (bright as a mug) to the 35w retro, Him expected more. Others are recommending 35w due to melting issues in the minis, the bulbs not lasting as long, and too bright for other drivers; although slim has not complained about that.

I have the DS2 with the Apollo shrouds and the Phillips bulbs. I went from 35w to 50w b/c of light output. I didn't think the 35w output was that great. I did come from the PnP 55w without projectors though. I put the 50w with the Phillips bulbs and they are perfect!

how much better are the phillips bulbs? been thinking i needa upgrade to them to get some better output, along with trying to see about getting some new rubber washers for the assembly and reset everything
