Why does it seem like every other truck driver on the road wants to prove his rig's faster than mine?

Is it the aggressive styling of my truck? Is it because of the tough Taco commercials? Is it because of the Japanese Toyota brand? Or am I just being paranoid?

It's a testosterone thing I had been challenged many times when I drive my diva. but when they see the driver they back off. so it's not just you

I am having flashbacks of Back to the Future III when Marty goes to race the village idiots and he puts it in reverse instead. The other guys cream another car.

That would be me. I don't need to race. I know my Tacoma is better than your F-350 Powerstroke. Don't believe me? Let's see who is still driving their truck at 250,000 miles. :)

Exactly how I feel. I would have bought myself an Infinit G35 Coupe or a BMW 330i if I wanted to "go fast".

LOL - those are the two cars that I looked at before deciding that a truck was MUCH more practical (and less risky in all aspects :) ).

Nice. I see you know your stuff. Japanese, American and Italian machines that should be "best buys" or atleast "recommended" in their respective categories.

I myself have a Suzuki SV650S for sport riding. Last year, I've resorted to riding more on the track so I can "go fast" with no incoming traffic. So I really don't have anything to prove in the street.

There's always 3. 4, 5, or 6 years from now, right? Depending on how long a carloan you took to get the Taco...

I love driving down the road and watching people stare at my truck. I have never owned a truck that brings this much attention. There are a lot of Tacomas in my area but mine just sticks out. I swear I get at least one good remark everday.

Yeah, well, I still have my 01 Honda Accord Coupe EX. It is plenty fast. Funny thing is - since I got the Tacoma, I don't want to drive anything else. :D

That is because your truck looks INCREDIBLE with everything you have on it. Plus, it is just a sweet truck!

For those of you that have some how missed ImInLoveWithMyTruck's Tacoma, here it is...

The good thing is that it's only getting better. I still have yet to add new rims/tires!

And thank you again for the nice comment.

For the second time, good looking hunk of metal dude. BTW, can your bull bar accommodate a winch?

I never looked into wether it will hold a winch. The bar is bolted to the frame with 3 bolts on each side so it's very sturdy. Not sure if I would trust a winch on it though. If anything was to fail it would probably be the welds.

I see now why are you so in love with your truck. she's pretty. :) like what you've discussed on your previous thread just don't get too physical with your taco.
