Stock head Unit With a sound processor

Does anyone know if you use a sound processor like the JL Clean sweep if you can still use the steering wheel volume controls? Also does it affect the use of the stock head units Bluetooth? I thought read in the audio information section that using your steering wheel volume controls would over ride the signal processor.

 

The issue is with factory units having a volume based EQ. If they do not (flat response, top to bottom), then there is generally no issue. If your head unit makes changes based on volume, you need to use the volume on the processor, leaving the factory head unit in the same volume position you set things up with.
