Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Israeli_Air_Force

Scroll down to current aircraft. 8 boeing 707 tankers... AKA KC-135. Also, they have KC-130 aircraft that are modded to be refuelers. Yes, they do have tankers. They are also in the process of buying the 767 tanker. I know this from a friend who works in the contracting division of boeing military here in wichita.

Also, I don't think for a moment we would let Israeli fighters go down for a lack of gas. We would support them after they let the bombs go.

We wouldn't have to let them go down because they wouldn't leave the deck to begin with.

I see the 707 listed and I also see "1 pending delivery 2012" I'm looking at the references. The first two Ref's are just other Wiki pages (edited by me or you) i'm gonna read this "worldairforces2011" .pdf and see where they get the 707 from.

    http://www.flightglobal.com/airspace/media/reports_pdf/world-air-forces-2011-2012-90190.aspx

This special report shows a few 707's in their fleet so maybe they do have them. But i still question it. Israel would wipe them out if they could keep their planes in the air but I wonder what $7+ a gallon of gas would be like after?

    What about this?

I heard this before, but just don't get it. In what way has Israel been our greatest ally? They haven't fought in any of our conflicts which didn't immediately and directly benefit them. At the same time, our young men, and now women, have died in conflicts while seemingly benefited only Israel, again without Israel's involvement. In the end, this "ally" relationship seems to be extremely one-sided - their benefit, our loss.

For the record, Canada sent over 2500 troops to help us in Afghanistan. That's the 3rd most of our allies after the UK and Germany. Israel has not fought a long side us in any war. So I don't see where the PSH comment comes from.

I checked that website out...and could not find if it was all of afghanistan (which it seems so) or if it was an operation of a certain Area of Afghan...but the American troop number is way off:eek:

Yes and they flew at like 100' AGL. To hit Iran they would have to air to air refuel and I cant see that happening over Iraq or Jordan. Nor do I see anyone allowing it to happen over their airspace or leasing their airfields.

I checked the stats on the sniper, a British guy holds the record now. That's bad ass, 2 miles away!

you are correct, but it looks more and more likely that Israel (if they attack) will do it by themselves without american support. Both the president and the top military brass neither want the US or Israel to attack, but because of political obligations they cannot condemn such action either.
So in turn while Israel can accept US fuel mid flight, it is somewhat plausible that the fuel won't be there for them when they need it.
