They look like they tried to "Appleize" the NAS.... Never played with one, that's just the impression their website gives me.

Something about the satisfaction of knowing someone else majorly fucked herself over, makes a man feel good.

95 was pretty bad if you go back and think about it. You just didn't notice how bad it was because you had that pretty GUI that was new and fresh. :)

Yea, 95 was an atrocity. It was in theory the first attempt to make a PC connect to the internet... and let's just say there was a lot of things not so well thought out.

I was 11 when it came out, but I started programming on an Apple IIe when I was 6... :spy:

I think it was because Windows 2000 was considered server software. They also don't show the Windows NT family (3.5 or 4.0) or Windows Server 2003.

I remember moving from Windows 3.1 to OS/2 (which was a precursor to Windows NT developed by Microsoft and IBM). It was a decent OS but the apps were way too expensive and games ran like crap on OS/2. I made the switch to Windows 95 when OS/2 Professional magazine declared the best word processor for OS/2 was Word for Windows. I thought, if the best was Word and not an OS/2 app, why don't I just go back to Windows.

And for what it's worth, the laptop I have came with Windows Vista (going on 5 years now). I've never had any issues with it.
