Heres my parts list for my audio in my truck.
Its going to be a on board computer running a very cut back version of windows 7. So basically it will be able to do anything your desk top could do but ill strip it of all the dumb pointless thing you would never use in your truck like Microsoft word, Excel, Microsoft power point so on and so on. To run all my audio, NAV, Email, Diagnostics, and many many more features ill be using a program called Centrafuse. Centrafuse also has its own market to download app or you can all so write your own app and put on Centrafuse.

    1. The Centrafuse Program you can check it out at www.centrafuse.com

    2. LCD 7inch touch screen By a Mini touch

    3. LCD touch screen double din frame from Bybyte.com

    8. Cameras to mount anywhere while off road http://www.ebay.com/itm/9-LED-Car-Re...item20ba77d907

Heres the plain Jane main screen shot the Centrafuse starts you with. This screen can also be customized in any way you want it.

your links are broken, at least for me....

try using this format for longer links:

    [ url = website address ] brief description [ /url ]

do that without the spaces and your link will look like this:

    Craig's Truck Audio (On-board Computer)

On another note, Love the idea, I've been scheming something like this for quite some time as well, but it's kinda low on the priority list right now. Part of my problem is that a 7" screen is just too small :) I've seen a few 10" options that might work out, but I'm keeping my eye out for a 12" touchscreen version :D

Can't wait to see it. Would love to rig something like that up, however I lack the audio and electrical skills. Waiting like a hungry dog
