Does it all the time, seems to get more noticeable the longer the run time tho.

Did you try and put it into track mode which doesn't have reverse and see how it acts? I was going to try it later today

It seems like mine isn't as bad when I first start running it. It gets worse when I'm switching from forward to reverse really often, though. I would say the hotter the ESC gets the worse it would be.

I don't think I've ever had a ESC with reverse.

Mine doesn't get "hot" just warm. 80 or 90 is the hottest it's gotten.

You know what? Mine did this when I very first bought it. I had to send the esc in for repair (button got stuck) and they sent me a brand new esc, hasn't happened since.

Call Traxxas and see what they have to say about it. They might tell you to send it in for replacement. It's free if it's still under warranty.

I have the real things on my truck

I wouldn't mind having them on my Slash. I'm sure it's only a matter of time before they pop up on eBay.

Kinda in the same boat, we let our track go to hell over this winter, plus I'm flying more and more. I checked the mail like three times today, I'm expecting my new (heli) HK450 Pro. any day. Here, as of late it's been too windy to fly, I've got a new F4U Corsair and a Spectrum DX6i that I've not even flown yet.
