Yeah, I usually end up at the dealer but im not so sure OEM brakes are the answer here. Im not to concerned with having aftermarket shoes as long as they are quiet. Id like something more HD up front though. Im wondering, when Toyota puts TSB springs in the truck do they account for the LSPV for the rear brakes? would it have enough effect for them to be working less? combined with the front end diving a bit I would think there is very little braking going on back there. Could explain why the brakes feel like they lack power, they do feel better with a load in the truck, hmmm.

Good luck with your brakes syncros. I still have yet to do mine since they are at half life but I'd be interested to know what you end up doing....

So any ideas where everyone wants to go? And saterday or Sunday?

I suggest you go to Nanaimo and if there are some trails there that would be great. That way us "Northern Island" people can make it too!

Totally OT here, but if you do find a powerful option for your front brakes let me know. I find the brakes on my 2011 to be supremely sub marginal in the stopping/grip category.
Looking like I may not make it next week - especially if it's Nanaimo. Time constraints will limit the time I can get out. Boo.

I'm good for Sunday. Now we just need a central meeting spot that's easy to find.
    The mall?
Isn't there a lookout point right around Northfield road right on the highway?
