I was wanting some help on how the installation works on a boltover/overlay grille. If anyone has any advice please send it my way, now I'm not talking that putco chrome overlay on the black grille, but an actual mesh grille, and if you have a great looking grille go ahead and post it so I can get an idea of what I want. Thanks

Now I may have read this wrong, but do you just want a bolt over and do no cutting, or are you willing to cut the center section out.
In that case there are a number of choices I went this route but many people went others and I am sure they will chime in.

I was thinking about painting the fins black, but then I looked a little further, and if I'm not mistaken that is the air conditioning plant's condenser. I would want to remove it to paint it and then I would need a recovery system and more refrigerant, which is a pretty big project.

Use a couple of paper shopping bags and a rattle can...real short light shots...lots of a coats and it'll be fine. Do it in a garage if you can to minimize wind. (I sprayed mine with flat black radiator paint)

Blue: How do those headlights work for you? I wanted to install some but I heard that they were melting the plastic??? Any word on that. Did you just cut out the OEM grille part, and then put in the new one?

The headlights are working out well so far... little bit of fogging, but no melting going on. The bulbs are whatever came standard in the headlights which I believe are not HID's. As for the grille... I had to cut out the plastic grille insert. I used a Sawzall and a Dremel tool to cut out the factory grille. I then taped up the remainder of the grille and painted the gray inside of the grille with some black spray paint. The instructions that came with the Grillcraft grille were pretty easy to follow and included pictures. You will get out of the project what you put into it. Hope this helps

Most surely does. I think the grille I found on eBay isnt a grillcraft, I have the instructions to it, and it looks like it will be a lot easier once I have the product in front of me, but for now I'm working on getting side steps, and color matching door handles.
