it makes it easier to put stuff together, alot of the Nitro people on RC tech use 12 volt Makita drills

racing is where it's at. Nitro is also where it's at. saw a video where a bunch of crybabies were bitching about hearing a nitro car in the background.

    x2 Nitro or nothing

Hopefully if I can save up enough money, I'm going to get a new Truggy to race.

kind of wish truggys were around when I raced, they had just come out when I quit. I always raced trucks, so the buggy thing kinda sucked, plus when your driving style is balls out, extra grip is always nice.

I wish the 2wd Gas Truck class was still around

I'd get a new buggy, but driving a Truggy is much more forgiving

I've never actually raced, but I have gone a few laps around a track with friends. I was bored after the 3rd lap... Just wasn't my thing.

Huh, I've always read NEVER use a power tool, as you overheat the plastic/composite while threading. Losi even "used" to include a taping screw to pretread holes before final assembly.

^^^^ yea, those are common place. The thing about the exo is it's not a "dune" buggy, it's a "terra" (terrain) buggy. Goes evvurrwhur!!

They are tons better now than they used to be. And I love the smell, (reminds me of old school motocross). The sound is annoying, (to me) waaa, waaa, waaa, pause, waaaaaaaaaaaa, waaa, waaa, waaa so forth and so on. I like to hear my models' tranny, to see if the slipper is set correctly or the diff is starting to "bark" and even how the tires are, or not, hooking up. No glo plugs, no onboard batteries to worry about, or forget. When I'm done, throw it in the box and done, without a bunch of oily shit all over my body and everything else. I won't even get into smoother, instant power delivery and torque.
