First mod....DENIED

My first mod was going to be a lockable gas cap but they are not available for 09's yet. I tried an 08 cap but it was different. Anybody have any ideas, thoughts?

 

whats the difference between the 08 cap and the 09?

 

I saw in another forum that the locking cap for an '08 FJ Cruiser will fit. There were not any addditional posts saying that they tried it but maybe you can find one to test fit. If you do keep you old cap handy. I have seen postings where others have tried some that seem to fit but the "check engine" light comes on after as much as 300 miles. Good luck.

The only thing I dislike about owning an '09 Taco is waiting for the after market companies to catch up. I have been waiting since Oct. for a Pop and Lock tailgate lock.

 

I think the '05 - '08 are unthreaded and the '09 is from what I have read.

If anyone wants the locking tailgate look at the groupbuy! She told me the '09 will be available in april and she was confident about it.

 

Are you talking about the 10509 model?? I was just getting ready to go buy one.
