This prototype grill has my M4 mesh with the embossed TRD logo as well as finished triangles. (not pictured)

PM sent. So it comes with the whole cha-bang correct, not just the grill insert? I want to be able to keep my current grill and replace with yours, so I can take it back to original if I ever need to.

Any idea on how much it would cost to powder coat the frame from silver to black in your experience.

Is that grille OEM or aftermarket? Is the $375 as you see it in the picture with the chrome surround?

 

It is an aftermarket grill and yes, $375 as you see it.
- I even have a box for it ready to ship

 

Interesting then, because I see less than a $100 in materials, so trying to figure out where you the other $275 is coming from...

 

Figure all you want. I spend a ton of time building these and my time is a valuable commodity that i have to put a price tag on.

I believe it is a fair price for my work.

 

The Persistence of Memory by Salvador Dali was done on a canvas worth about $5 with $20 in oils. Just sayin'...Price is what the market is willing to bear for an item, and I believe Craig has been more than successful in what your eye fails to see.

I never once questioned his "quality" of work, but HomerTaco already answered my question. The extra $275 is buying his time.

Regardless of how nice the grille is, not sure why anyone in there right mind would knowingly and willingly pay nearly $400 for something that can be built in materials for less than a hundred bucks.

 

your opinion is definitely in the minority... too bad its not in the silent minority

 

I would have to make 50 to make one turn out half as good.

 

Because not everyone has the time, knowledge, or skills to produce them.

I would sooner cut of my right arm than try and cheat or price gouge someone on this forum.
