    In what respect? Does the 2700K illuminate objects with a color that is close to natural sunlight?

    I can still change my temp for what I am about to order. I may keep the cove and under counter at 3000K and the overhead general lighting at 2700K. That thought has crossed my mind.

    I am also thinking of track lighting with swags but with a 96" ceiling it might look kind of funny.

    Whatever I go with it will mean drywall work and painting of the ceiling. :(

    Yes I did pick a camera....once I get over the sticker shock I think I'm going with a Canon 7D. The more I played with the Canons the more I didn't like the Nikon 5100. I like the 60D as well but it wouldn't really be and upgrade from what I have now. I hope the 7D will last me at least 3 to 5 years.

    It should last you longer than 5 years. I have a Nikon D60 myself and I am ready to move up to a better Nikon.

    Canon makes a really decent camera for a decent price.

    Also, Lisa, I'm a big fan of Canon stuff...I have an earlier model Canon (cant recall the actual model number) but it's one of their early digital rebels

    I also have a Nikon film SLR that takes really good pics

    I know the Canon has lasted me for 2 years (and my brother for several years prior) I got lucky because he upgraded and gave me this one...it still works fantastic

    The Nikon is well over 30 years old and still takes amazing pictures (when i remember to put the film in properly)

    I don't think you'll go wrong with either brand
