Since I got my tires installed yesterday the truck started to drive like crap. It felt like I was floating on the road, and the steering was hyper senstive.

I checked the psi in the tires. Holy fuck, they inflated them to 50 psi, each.

I dropped the front downt to 38 and the rear to 40. Im gonna see how they drive now, and if still shitty I will drop it down even more

I might drop down to that. I'm trying to figure out why they would set them at 50. I wonder if the E rating has something to do with it

I bet that was what is on the sidewall. The "correct" psi is on the sticker on the driver side door jamb. I run 30 psi all around on mine, but I also have stiff sidewalls.

The sidewall says "Max 80 psi COLD". On well. I am going to tinker with them myself to find the perfect PSI

If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
Damn! 50psi! I would drop 'em to 31-32.

I'm guessing the reason they did that is for fullsize trucks on E rating, they run 50 unloaded and about 75 full loaded.

I run 34 all around, seems like the tape test agrees with me.

I could see that if they didn't know they were going on a Tacoma. But the truck was parked right next to the tire machine. After driving around a little more I'm gonna drop them to 34 all around

Picked up this beast today. Looking forward to playing with it Sunday while I take apart my leaf pack. I picked up some Grade 8 center bolts from Napa with a unthreaded grip length just a little shorter then the leaf stack. I'm hoping to throw some grease in there and my binding might go away! Supposed to be damn near 60 Sunday!! :woot:

Those 1/2 drive impactor motors are $50 off at sears this week too! :woot:

want to buy a 2013 tacoma double cad 4x4 when i retire.. in 15 months... I just retire now i want the Tacoma BUT i want 8 way adjustable seats?
Heated "heated, leather, electrically adjusted seats"
Anyone have an idea where i can find a shop or pro in the northern calif Bay area to install ""heated, leather, electrically adjusted seats". I know the tundra has it all, But that not what i want.. I intend to buy a 2013 fully loaded Tacoma 4x4, short bed 4 door truck in 2013 , 15 months before i retire so i am ready to buy the best 4x4 fully loaded Tacoma.. BUT i want these seats, so any suggestions would be great.
the dealers only know how to sell the truck after that they are not much help with this subject matter of heated leather seats. We had a great shop that went out of business in Redwood city called "California Concepts", and now i have no where to ask these question.

I have the 1/2" drive makita version and it's awesome. I can rotate the tires on my 8 lug Duramax on one battery. The only bad thing about it is that it has more torque on tight than on loosen, so you have to use a breaker bar sometimes.
