Hi I'm a new member that's trying to buy my last vehicle (I'm 43) and eliminate 1 vehicle in my driveway by buying the Tacoma that I need and selling the 2 that I have. I'm pretty convinced that I need a 2gen as I will put the 6' bed to use - 2 questions to those who can answer please:

    1) What DON'T u like about ur Tacoma?(major flaws, pet peevs, etc.)

    2) How often are these trucks stolen? I have investicated this truck thoroughly and have found that they are excellent vehicles(there has to be a black market. Are they stolen alot?). A little feed back from taco. world pleeze.

Let me get this right, you're 43 and looking to buy your LAST vehicle? You're not looking for much longevity in life I take it, I got nothing for you if that's the case. Good luck in your final years.

Unless you have a short life, the Tacos don't typically last much more than 20 years at 15-20k miles per year. I am 44 and am planning on this being my next-to-last vehicle.

I would like for it to be a little lighter, get a little better mileage, have a powered back window, have a factory sunroof option, and better stock tires. Other than that I have been very happy with it.

Don't count yourself short, you're still very young.
