ordered my rear bumper

 

it’s 5am and i have a busy day ahead. got to work on the rhino and the atv. atv does not have front brakes for some reason only back. need to change oil and clean air filter on it. brother messed a few things up on the rhino last weekend riding i just found out about yesterday. need to clean air filter on it. some work will have to wait till tuesday. need some parts and the dealer is not open on sundays or mondays.

i just got back from a movie, but i just thought id share that after working on my dam cb all day at 10:30 tonight i come to find it STILL DOESN'T FIT!


i thought i had it all sorted out, i am now able to screw it back in and fits fine, until i try to put on the plastic dash trim piece, and the cb sits too low and i cant get the trim piece on. all of my problems come from the shitty aftermarket plastic mounting bracket holding on the radio. it just takes up too much space. it looks like i have to cut it all out AGAIN, and cut MORE plastic any MAYBE i will get it to fit in there. this is honestly the most time consuming and frustrating install I have ever done.

 

untill then i have to ride around with no turn signals and a gaping hole in my dash all while driving around getting little 5 dollar parts one at a time trying to get this to fit the right way and it freakin adding up!

i have trimmed SO MUCH off of this plastic, and im not sure how much more im able to take off.

i don't totally get what he is saying..

 

idk yet it'll be the first tire swing bumper Tim makes, but for the receiver and wrap arounds + the base bumper..that comes to 800..

BUT since i'll be the first one and basically getting a prototype bumper, i get a bit of a discount on the custom work, so i am expecting like 1000 with shipping.

Totally be worth it tho i think!

I like how tire swings look, plus with my bed rack, i don't want the spare to be buried under all my gear all the time in the bed.

ALSO!!!! BREAKTHROUGH! on attempt number 3 i have trimmed, err hacked enough away that it fits in with ease and the dash trim goes back on, HOLY SHIT THANK GOD FINALLY
