My cruise control light is blinking intermittently. I searched around here and found others with this issue-- but their cruise controls weren't working at all. Mine seems to be working fine...just blinking. Please let me know if you have any ideas... Thanks! I have 2008 2.7L 4x4, by the way.

Update-- figured out it is a problem with my clutch start cancel switch. Curise control stopped working completely. And, the truck doesn't want to start now. I can get it to start if i pump the clutch a few times really hard. What is the fix for this? Can I just pull a fuse for now so that the truck will start?

You probably have to replace the clutch start switch. Its like a brake light switch but for the clutch that will let you start the truck. Not sure though.

    Thanks, man! No warranty...

I hoping it is something I can fix myself...not a computer issue.

The clutch start switch is not working. So, I would agree with you there. I'm just wondering if that is the problem or a symptom of a cruise control computer type issue...

I am 300 miles away from home right now. I have no tools or space to work here. I'm hoping for a temporary quick fix so that I can get home.

Also, I think that the clutch problem is likely a symptom of the issue. It could be the problem, and it would be a good place to start, but I'm hoping for more ideas so that I can choose the best path to proceed forward.
