haha she's a beater, I don't mind sharing the fun. I do trust everyone I let drive it though.

Loving the car, I've been slowly fixing things here and there, I need to get it to the point where I don't get spanked by a del sol lol.

In my defense the del sol has around 180hp and the dude can drive it.

Nice! I bet it is a fun project for sure!

Speaking of Del Sol's, I saw one at school the other day, it was a very light pink, with a carbon fiber hood  I got a picture of it, I'll have to post it sometime!

Typically, your data is encrypted before it leaves your computer and stored in encrypted form on their servers. And so long as you choose strong pass phrases, you'll be OK.

The thing I worry about is the length of time it takes to move files. Most of these services work by making a full backup (which may take days to complete if you have a slow link and lots of data) followed by incremental backups that are deltas of the original. Most of the time, you won't notice this happening. However, if you're working from a laptop, changing locations or shutting down frequently, backups will be slow. You also pay a price in overall system performance because data is being encrypted and transferred during the backup window. The key strategy is to backup only what you need to and NOT the entire machine (you can always reload the OS for example). You could make infrequent bare metal images (load the image on a machine and you're back to running state). But really, you should consider backup of only your critical data.

All that said, remote backups work remarkably well most of the time.

If you're curious, I've spent a long time managing storage at the terabyte level :)

Practicing some of Jake's tips. Opinions?

I really love the look. Never really got into Photoshop before for standard photo edits so I'm really getting into these adjustments.

Never heard of a YN-560. For your intended use, they should be OK. I would just check to make sure they're both the same with regard to light output/quality.

The umbrella is a great way to shape light. If you think you want to use it outdoors, just get a sandbag to hold it down-a heavy one.
