Sold my OEM roof rack ($180) and bought a second hand Magnaflow cat-back exhaust system ($150). Going to take off the 3" post muffler section what/ tip and dump it with a 3" turndown today.

I've been debating "whiting out" my ARB for a long time... I'm really happy that I'm really happy abot how it turned out:

It was a fairly decent early March day in Connecticut so I was able to get the Fold-A-Cover installation finished today. I did the whole thing by myself in about 4 hours. Mounting the rails was the only difficult part, but I just located both of them, fastened one side, realigned the other side and then fastened that one. The rest is an easy one man job. There are 4 brackets on each side that bolt in to the factory bed rails.

I wasn't able to do the front and rear seals because the instructions recommend that the temperature should be above 70, and that ain't happening here for a while! I won't be able to comment on the water-tightness until this part is finished.

The cover seems to be really well made and high quality. All the parts fit together nicely. Others have asked about how easy it would be to remove the cover completely. The last picture shows the bracket that holds the whole cover to the truck. By removing the 2 bolts that point vertically (plus 2 on the other side), the whole cover will come off in a couple of minutes.

You can also see the Pop-N-Lock in the 2nd picture. With this plus the Fold-A-Cover[IMG] lock and the hose clamp mod, I have a good feeling about keeping my tailgate on the truck.

Undid my Leer cap and repostioned it .

It had migrated forward a bit and was forcing the weaterstripping out into the cab .

    Damn bumpy roads

YWM, ran new coax for my CB, replaced folding antenna mount with quick-release then re-tuned the antenna, re-torqued the lugs then loaded it up for tomorrow's desert trip.

Similar issue here except mine's migrated back instead of forward. Not a lot, but enough to make a slight gap between the tailgate and window seal.

Yeah, I think the "blacking out everything" has hit the tipping point. We will start to see more colormatched and/or chrome stuff in the near future.

I replaced the towels on the front seats that I use to protect the factory cloth while using the Tacoma as my work vehicle during the construction of our new home. :D

Put the track bikes and measured for the pitbull restraints, then drilled out the holes for mounting them. Realised I needed some spacers and need to cut the plate to go underneath so project to be continued
