12V to trailer enabled at factory?

    Does anyone know if the 12V charge circuit to the tailer via the 7 pin round connector is enabled at the factory? I know on a Ford or Chevy you have to put a fuse in. It will be easy to check but its raining. Has been all dang weekend :(

    Yes it is live and ready to go from the factory. Or atleast it was on my 07, I've not had the occasion to check any others.

    How do you check? I tried two trailers and it none of the lights came on. I have a 07 taco dc thanks
