    Not really 1st Gen specific so I'll share. I still need to finish painting the second box. I used 3/8" Eye bolts bolted through with JB Weld coating the nuts on the inside.

    I have one on each side. I payed 25 bucks for both.

    I keep my good tools at home, but picked up one of the tool kits from HF and they hold the whole set ( ratchet and metric sockets, screw drivers, wiring tools, wrenches,pliers, my slider adapter for the hi lift, and a few towels.

    and they are water tight

    This is being redone when I build my tire mounting system and I will integrate the cans into it with a hi lift and light mounts

    X2 although Weatherguard is expensive it IS the best tool box out there, i had one long time ago on another truck and it was built like a tank literally especially if you compare them to other cheaper tool boxes, you get what you pay for!
