    I can play this game:

You know you live in a man cave when:

The carpet is around 15 years old, but you have no money to replace it because it was spent on A/V hardware for a kick ass home theater system.

You walk in the front door and there is plastic sheeting hanging from the ceiling of the living room to contain the over spray from repainting your motorcycle.

There is room in the garage for the truck instead of all the useless crap that gets stored in other peoples garages.

You know you live in a man cave when:

You don't own a table, you have a big tv, shitty couch that gives you a waffle butt because the padding is gone, and on the weekends you stuff the hole the squirrels use to get into the attic above your room with rags soaked in Ammonia. Also you spend more time on your roof than actually in your pad.

the best "man cave" is seperate from the domicile.

Men are welcome if carrying gifts of beer, tools, expert advice, or stories of glory days..and ladies are allowed by special invitation only. :D

    mine is under construction.

Long long ago when I was single, I had a MEC shotgun shell re-loader bolted to my end table in the living room. My girlfriend used to reload for me, so I thought I'd better do something about that. So I married her. That was over 20 years ago.

you know you have a man cave when:

the girlfriend nags and nags that you never spend time with her because of always working on the rockcrawler or the tacoma or tending to the garden/flower beds or whatever in the backyard etc etc etc. now i just watch TV, nap, or lurk on the internet

But that's MY room, MY space. This is where I keep my bikes and work on them. Sometimes I take a nap in there too. Or I read. It's also my office, aka the second "living room". The rest of the house is not like that.
