with some aftermarket in dash nav/dvd players, there is an auxilary video input. All you have to do is tap into the signal wire to the stock backup camera. If you don't have the backup camera stock, then you'll need that part as well.

 

yea i have a dash unit that has an input for it, just need the camera and wiring i guess...

would be a sweet feature for wheelin

 

I wonder if you can buy the camera by itself of if you have to buy the mirror as well.

Anyone know?

Install would probably be a lot easier that way.

I swerved from hitting a stupid deer, I totaled my last rig by hitting an elk so i figured i would avoid hitting them at all costs seeing as how i was going at a relative low speed 10-15mph. So i think either way my truck would have been damaged about the same. The deer might have done more seeing as how it was a pretty good sized one. Right now im looking at having to replace the Grill, Headlights, Bumper, Headlight trim, And repairing the hood. Im aiming to buy a unpainted grill from Amazon, Satoshi it and paint it, Then maybe install some Anzo headlights and try to get an Relentless or ARB bumper... Id love to have a Demello three hoop but just cant afford the 1200+ price tag after shipping. FYI, State farm is a bunch of assholes.

Sorry for the rant.

 

I am pretty sure the insurance company pays when you hit a deer, but are assholes when you swerve off the road avoiding the deer. One of the reasons I don't swerve for animals/things in the road.

At least you don't have to clean the blood and hair off your truck.

 

X2 I will take that fucker out. My insurance would not have a problem at all replacing if I hit an animal.

My insurance has no problem covering me for what happened. I told him i swerved to miss a deer and he said that im fully covered.

 

So what's the problem?

 

Anyone have an idea to mount a hilift on my arb bumper tabs for cheap?

 

besides buying the tube mounts?

 

Yeah I have the tabs on top of my ARB. figured we could make something.
