    My understanding is that there is a high percentage of NHL players from Southern Ontario. In fact apparently every team in the league employs at least one outside of the Leafs who ironically have none. Cherry was wondering why Burke failed to employ any on his team, since Burke himself observed how motivated these kids are to play every time the visit T.O.

    I am not sure he attempting to berate Americans per say, but he is definitely attempting to berate Burke, who happens to be American.
