When gas prices went through the roof and up everyone's ass here in California. It was too easy for me. Didn't need anything with bells and whistles, but what happened was originally I ordered a Kink Gap XL because it was the perfect size and price (on sale for $300). J&R bikes called me up a little bit ago telling me that they over sold the bike because someone changed their order, and the inventory was never corrected before I ordered one for myself. So, they upgraded me to the Transition for just $40 dollars more than the Gap XL. I'm really happy with how they handled the situation, and it should be here next Monday :D

edit: The Gap XL was a 21'' top tube, the Transition is a 21.75'' so still good to go on size.

Ohohohoho big sexy thats a good deal, that one comes in at what should be just under 25 pounds.

Idk what you usually run but I recommend to everyone to use plastic pedals, they are stupid cheap, won't destroy your shins and since your pedals take alot of the hit when the bike goes down you don't have to worry abouts tearing em up cause aluminum gouges easy.

Sure does. 24.8lbs. Back in my days of being young and reckless I learned to stop being stubborn and eventually ran plastic pedals. Since this will mostly serve as a mall...fort crawler bike I won't be getting too crazy with it. There is a skate park next to my barracks that I might hit up once and a while.

I'm broke... :( plus, if I'm gonna build one, I'm gonna build the bike Ive always wanted. Lol. I already have the parts in my shopping cart on Dans Comp. Lol

But Ill probably buy another complete. Either a Stolen, Subrosa, or a Fit. Something between 24-25.5 lbs.

Anyone in the Chandler area. There is this antique store on AZ Ave between Ray and Warner on the East side of the road. Anyways they have this cool little section of "Mantiques" that has some sweet old tools, knives, pill boxes lights and Vintage Pinups. The prices aren't too too bad either. Thinking about getting a few pinups for the Garage. They have a few cool Betty Paige ones and some others for like $10
