I have thought about it. High school would be the best time to do it because I dont really have to have a vehicle to drive everyday. I could get away without having one while it was sitting in my driveway.

My alternator went out so I swapped in a caddilac alternator. Here is a link to the write up

    http://www.tacomaterritory.com/forum/showthread.php?t=144170&highlight=alternator

If you are going to attempt this, there is a few extra tips i would give you that the write up doesnt cover

Im not sure whats it called, but the part that you tighten the alternator with, undo the bolt and loosen it up. Its a pretty tight fit, but if you do this, it makes it much easier. Also, the stock belt will now fit instead of having to get another one. This is just a little something that would have made it much easier if i had of known the first time.

    Little update:

Got the rear end totally fixed, e-locker works great now. Just have to mount the BAMF diff skid.

My dirt bike is in the shop now getting a few little things fixed, after it is out, im planning to sell it. Its a 2009 KTM 250xc for anyone who might be interested, really nice, fast bike. I have just decided I like the truck more.

Bought a broken 2007 crf100 that I plan to fix, its an easy fix, guy just didnt want to mess with it. Should be able to double my money.

Hopefully they will both sell before the summer.

All this will go the truck :D As of now the plans are:

ARB and 4:88 in the front.
    2.28 crawler from inchworm
LT kit s13bdafocker is making, attempting to run this without glass with high backspaced wheels and tons of cutting on the fenders.

And then when its time for tires, 35'' pitbull radial rockers.

Do you have 4.88s in there rear axle now? Did you go with 4.88s because you plan to go to 35s soon?

4.88s actually go well with 33s, and 5.29s are good for 35s.

Yes 4:88s are in the rear axle now. Didn't quite have enough to do them both at the same time.

    Yes

I agree its not to bad. RPMs are a little higher doing 75 than I would like, but with the 35s it should be perfect.

I thought 4.56s were better for 33s with the V6 and 4.88s were too much?

Did you have to disconnect the front drive shaft or anything with the diffs having different gears?

Can't wait to see LT and 35s on your truck!

No, just dont put it in 4x4 on hard packed surfaces. I had to use it in the mud a couple times and nothing went boom. Just dont use it that often I guess.

I would agree. But 4:88s with 33s, RPMs are a little higher than I would like on the interstate. Im thinking 35s will be perfect.

Bought another wheeling toy. The plan is to race it in next years ECORS series. Will need to get an exo and a couple other things done to it. Its just something else to wheel so I dont destroy my truck to much. Its also for my dad so each of us can wheel at events. I think Im going to call it the Red Rocket.

Its a 2.7 5speed, bobbed bed, gay 3'' BL, 36s. The transfer case is stuck in 2 high but he gave us a working one with the truck so I just need to swap them and then ill have 4x4. Thats about all i can think of. Plans are to take the BL off and put the 36s on my truck and put my 33s on this one since it still has stock gearing.

After I do that my dad will drive it and we will come wheeling!
