    You can put the winch on with the bumper installed. You just remove your grill

    for second gens that might work. Won't on mine tho. Ill have to take the whole bumper off.

    Not that big a deal i think. Only 6 or 8 bolts i think. Plus i want to throw on a couple more coats of Bed liner just for shits while its off i figure.

    and M8000 then i shall try and get.

    Got any other thats cheaper you'd recomend?

    warn is best. we have one on the front of the rhino. it’s 3,000. i have had it under water every time we have taken the rhino to the mountains. so like 20+ times. one time i got home and found a 5” thick pice of ice wedged between it and part of the rhino’s frame. i had to take all the line out one time because it had mud packed in it. still runs just as smooth as the day we put it on. in september or ’10.

    I was just gonna say take a look into Superwinch. They make a quality winch, might even be better than warn. Also check out Ramsey winches.

    every one i know that has used Ramsey said they suck and break wont work wen they need it the most. i hear to many bad stores about those to even think about one.

    i thought about doing one on my truck. we have had to call someone we know that had a winch a few times before to help with stuff around the house. they guy does not have his truck or winch anymore.

    the u ring looking thing under the winch. i think is suppose to be a D ring. but it looks more like a U than a D.

    yeah i love them. i would not use a roller type on a truck. atv or something is fine. i don’t theik they make the one in pic small enuff for atvs. but not sure.

    you can't use them on steel cable from what i understand the steel cable will cut though the aluminum.
