I have a 1984 Honda ATC 125m. It's in perfect condition, original body, starts right up (electric start). I'm thinking about selling it and buying a 2006 Honda Rancher 2WD. I love my ATC, but I think I would get more use from the Rancher. It's not the most friendliest ride either considering it has no shocks. What would you guys do? I am really torn here.
Here's my ATC. The next is the Rancher I'm looking at.

I miss my 350x, but this is just a 125m. Still fun to ride, but kind of a putt-putter. You wont get much for a 125m, so id just say keep it.

My main reason for going to the ATV. Turning = getting dumped

Pretty sure that three wheelers are illegal in Virginia and maybe other states as well because of people getting injured. Just what I heard.

Air down the tires a little and lean into your turns! I had one growing up it was a blast a little sketchy on the downhill, but it was loads of fun.

They are aired down quite a bit, even though you can't really tell from the pic. I love the ride, but if I want to really take it out and ride w/ my friends, it's like I'm always bringing up the rear. And there's absolutely no give when you do a jump, but it sure is a blast. I think I've decided to keep it and get the four wheeler as well. I can take that one out when we do trails or mudding and leave the atc at home. She's just it too good of condition to sell.

Sell the 3-wheeler before you break your ankle or roll it over on top of yourself. I'm not saying anything about your riding ability, I just know those things are evil if you aren't an expert. If you must have more than 2 wheels off-road, get 4. My $0.02

I ended up keeping the three wheeler and getting the Rancher. It's like going from a roller skate to a limo. The ride is so different. I love the ATC and it's a classic from my childhood, so it's staying with me :) I've been thrown from it plenty, had it roll on me, land on me, flip over on me....I'm not so careful on it. I always wear a helmet if I plan to ride it too hard. Good thing about it is that it's only about 200 lbs or so!

You rarely see them here anymore. If you do it's usually pushing $1k and they are in horrible shape. Got mine for $300 last April and she's in great shape. No cracks, electric start (cranks right up), new tires, no smoke, lights work, nothing leaks...she's a gem!

What I see is two pieces of shit, not even in the class of condition as the OP three wheeler. He says he's keeping it, good call OP.
