My brother decided to wrangle a cow Sunday night. He is fine, car took a good beating. Cow walked away but was then put down to become steak. I haven't found out if he gets a piece of the tenderized filet mignon yet.

I think he was watch Dukes of Hazzard or Cars recently and thought he could just drive around them or was trying some cow tipping. He got the tipping part right.

So we got the hookup on beef for the next meet...er... meat?

A couple of tenderloins worth of filet would probably be at least a 6-8oz ea for everyone!

Yeah... I dunno, even if it's an old beater, if it's your DD you're still down a vehicle on Monday morning if you beef (pun fully and wholly intended) over the weekend. I kinda figure I can't drive it like I stole it until (more of an if than a when) I've got a third ride that the wife and I can do without in the event of an unintentional tree-hugging.

Guess we kept it under the radar for 235 pages anyway, lol. With the crowd around here that's gotta be some kind of accomplishment, hah.

 

ok so turns out the u-joint is good and they didnt make me pay the 55 bucks. so yay bill penny this time and ive had good experiences with the parts department im just still mad they screwed me on a deal with a first gen haha. the salesman i dealt with was a TOOL. but since then its all been good. musta just got a bad salesman lol

 

What'd they end up doing? Just grease it up and you're good to go? I had to get my slip yoke looked at, it was binding or something, ended up just needing to be greased.

I picked up a grease gun at Tractor Supply for cheap and just hit all the zerks on both drive shafts with some fresh grease every time I change the oil.

 

yeah basically a little wd40 i think. he said "cleaned and lubed her up shouldn't make no more noise boss you're good to go". i didnt ask any more questions after he said dont worry about the 55 dollar fee haha i just said thanks and drove off

 

ok you auburn guys..... gotta spend a couple days down there next week and need some suggestions for places i need to hit up restaurants and etc. be down there for work so even though i will be reimbursed cant go tooooo crazy.
