now just rem i am not familiar with the town so dont really know my way around, just know that most of the stores like wal mart and all are on college street. that is the way i normally take to get there...... coming from I85.

mamma g's - get off on exit 51, left onto college street, take left at longleaf (across the street from walmart). It will be on your left.

Niffer's - easiest way to get there? depends on where you are staying. If you are on college, take college towards campus and take a right on glenn, left on dean, right on opelika rd (pepperell parkway). Niffers will be on the left side. Definitely the best burgers in town

Good BBQ? Mike and eds - head down college street , left side directly past the rail road tracks.

amsterdams is a fancy restaurant (like the dime a dozen fancy type). Not that exciting in my opinion.

 

what is momma g's? ive heard a ton of folks talking about it. never realized where it was though til now.

 

It's a sandwich shop. I'll be honest, its good, but I think the allure of it is the college feel. I've had better sandwiches. I think they are about to get big though, they've been franchising out at a pretty quick rate in the last few years.

wait, the nachos, you have to get the nachos. It's doritos with steamed pepper jack cheese and jalapenos. So good.
