Dumbest thing you have done in your taco?

After seeing that video of that guy getting pulled out and being in park it made me wonder what dumb stuff others have done. Ill start off obviously

1.I was driving in the country with my buddies and their trucks when the road did a 90 degree turn and I didn't have time to react. My truck went straight into the ditch and ended up on its side. Luckly there was a massive amount of snow on the ground and my truck just rolled into it and stopped. The driver side was almost laying flat in the snow and the passenger side was almost straight up. You could see the entire under carriage. So i crawled out the passenger side and waded through a few feet of snow out of the ditch grabbed my buddies tow rope and hooked it up to his truck and then the frame on mine where it was sticking straight up. he gave it a little tug and it dropped onto its wheels perfectly not hard no damage. Checked everything for any damage checked the engine and oil and fluids started it up and drove right out. I felt so stupid yet was so impressed with how tough my truck was. I didn't have my phone on me at the time i wish I could have gotten pics or a video it was cool.

Deff will never do that again though.

 

On the Whipsaw trail, thought that I was as big as all the other trucks (LT Tacoma's, 6 inch lifts on Cruisers, FJ's with snorkels) and followed them through a pretty deep puddle.....

Yeah, Hydrolocked the motor. Definitely the dumbest thing I have done in my Tacoma.

Not as badass as your stories. Within a week of getting the truck, I backed into a steel pole in a McDonald's parking lot. No damage. Learned to use the backup camera after that.

 

I hate those things

 

When my wife and I were in the early staged of our dating days, we parked and started to get hot and heavy. Failed to notice the state trooper parked within 50 yds. *tap tap tap* on the window. He caught us both completely nude in the back seat, laughed and said to find a better place; away from HIS hiding spot.

About a week after purchase, I took my buddy for a ride and of course the statement arises...."Let's see what she can do!"..... So, I proceed to come to a stop, rev the motor till its bangin the studder box, and sidestep the clutch.... Of course i didnt just let the mayhem and madness happen in first gear, i then proceeded to quickly grab gears until the tires would no longer spin. This was really retarded because i went from having a brand new set of tires, to more like half worn balogna skins! Never Again!!!

There was this one time, at band camp.....

Ok - so I got nothing - yet.

 

Three or four weeks after getting my truck im having a bit of a drinking session at my new apartment. My cousin comes in late i say about 1 am. He grabs a beer and before i could tell him i needed him to drive to get more ice opens it. So he chugs the beer i throw him my keys and four dudes jump in my Access cab truck all of us with a beer in our hands except the driver. We go get ice and on the way back i look at my cousin and tell him "fucking get into it i know you want to see what it will do". He pulls out of the twice the ice burning rubber giving it hell. get to a intersection with a red light, light turns green he hits its were going through the intersection sideways he looks in the review mirror a cop is making a u turn i still have a beer in my hand i role down the window out goes the beer. we make it back to the apartment with out getting pulled over and to top it off i find out that i butt dialed my mama during this whole event.

 

One time at camp i had a coffee cup and used it as a spitter all week in my truck. I went to go pitch it out my passengers side window while driving not noticing the window was up lol needless to say my truck smelled like grizzly straight for a week or so even after cleaning!

a couple of weeks ago i reversed my truck into my work place...i was half asleep lol and luckily no damage to the building or truck.

 

Trusted the ABS system



Slid right into him with the ABS just groaning instead of doing its job

 

backing in to a damn pole cause i had the music too loudd -__-
