Mitch, idk for sure. The kohluer pavilion or however its spelt is where unwashed at. I think the er is on 8. Because the spine area is on the 9th floor where the tram enterence is. All I know is with all those damn buildings, they need a better mapping system lol.

Yeah Kholer opens a whole new area for getting lost. Your right main entrance is 9, ER is 8.

Lucky she wasn't at Providence Portland. At providence there are some elevators that only go to certain floors

acer isnt terribly bad as long as all the components arent really low end. if you are going to return it you should check out newegg.com they have really good deals and reviews on everything.

Cameron you know a lot about laptops? Reason why I went with an Acer again is because I had one for 3 years and I had no problem with it until one night when my daughters mom accidentally knocked it off the arm rest of our couch and now it won't boot up..

I finally browsed more and found the laptop on the site. Decent? I got it for $479 at Frys..I just plan on running iTunes and Lightroom 3 on it along with TW browsing :)

This is the one I got

Not the Gresham area but I know two good ones in Beaverton:

Highline Customs (they have done all my rigs): http://www.highlinecustoms.com/

503 Motoring (No personal experience but I follow them on FB and they definitely do legit work): http://www.503motoring.com/

yeah that one seems pretty good. the only thing i would change on that one is getting a faster HD. (5400rpm vs 7200) its not a big deal but it just helps the computer work a bit faster.

Speaking of computer issues. My desktop tower computer kept shutting off randomly after I would watch videos. I think it had something to do with my shitty OEM CPU cooler being packed with dust. Cleaned that out and ordered a new, better CPU heatsink. Love Newegg's free 2 day shipping.

Make sure you check the case fans also. I seem to go through one every year or so.

This tower has one 140MM fan that literally moves all the air in my bedroom. It blows out the top of the tower, then I've got one in the back sucking air in, and two in the front sucking air in. They have all held up well. Still quiet and moving plenty of air. Just takes a lot of cleaning. It's an Antec case with Antec fans. Seems like a great product.

If you can still post, try a different hard drive, or maybe just reinstall the OS.

Acer seems to do a good job. Brother has one.

I like to buy from Powernotebooks.com, my current comp is a Sager. I like most everything about it except for the power brick makes external speakers whine due to poor grounding. I can fix it with the 3-to-2 prong adapters from home depot, but it's the principle of the matter that I shouldn't have to do that.

My current fav laptop is a Lenovo T420. I would have bought one, but I wanted a dedicated keypad.
