vibration in D at idle

    anyone else have a slight vibration at idle when in Drive with foot on brake? my steering wheel vibrates, but as soon as I take my foot off the pedal it goes away, is this normal, you can actually see the steering wheel vibrate if you look closely.

    2006 DC 4x4 SR5, auto 4.0L V6

    im the opposite. steering wheel vibrates at some speeds on some roads. i always thought it was a combo between road and tire.

    thats what i first thought when i got the truck. it was used. picked up some new tires and it was better. a lot better but still shakes.

    im not trying to steal the thread, but yes they were balance and i want to say they were aligned too. not 100% on that one. I will have to check the receipt. It was at Big-O. Tonight I am going to bring her in for my first free 5K tire rotation.

    Nothing yet, brand new!
    No it's not normal. There is something amiss, I'd have the motor mounts and hardware inspected. I have yet to hear of this on a 2nd gen. Keep us posted.
