Maxtrac Spindle Lift for 2nd Gen Prerunners

    New Taco: 96 DLX Extended Cab 4x4 2.7,MT, Bilstein 5100s at 2.5 and HS 3 Leaf AAL Old Taco: 11 Prerunner Maxtrac Spindles in the front, 2'' AAL with Bilstein 5100 extended in the back. 18'' Milanni Stellars wrapped in 265/70/18 General Grabber tires.
    haha I cant figure out how to get the rotor off. Feel like an idiot.

    Take the 8mm headed bolt that held the ABS sensor in and thread it into the holes on the front of the rotor. As long as the caliper is off it whould pop off. Might spray some lube in the 2 holes depending on how rusted they are.

    The 4 bolts that hold the bearing assembly in... its behind the rotor.

    Aloha, I have a 2007 PreRunner so Spindles are definitely the way to go for me, I like the beefiness of the Maxtrac, have you guys looked in to other brand spindles, i.e. Camburg, Total Chaos, CST and other ones....
    I saw CST didn't require brake line changes... Doesn't look as strong though.

    i believe people are going with maxtrac becaues the price is much more reasonable than camburg and TC and dont sacrifice the strength that those have. the only upside to those spindles is that they can be used when going long travel if thats in your future. thats one reason i got camburg spindles but otherwise these wouldve been purchased in a heartbeat

    Sweet thanks, Ill start looking on line for a set of Maxtrac spindles. It seems like in the beginning of this thread these spindles are hard to get. Any suggestions..

    Believe it or not, Amazon is selling them for $569 + $9.95 for shipping.
    They are selling them for buytor custom truck who's listing says they have 13 in stock.

    I think these only give about 3" cause i got close to 4 and i have my 5100@.85 :(
