    Eh...I didn't look up border patrol, yet, but for Contra Costa County Sheriffs (county right outside of San Fran) its about a 2-5 month process, and thats from sending in application to final academy announcement. I actually have my telephone interview with a background investigator tomorrow morning to go over my all my paperwork, hopefully I'm gtg!

    Hate to ask but does anyone have spare bumpstops I could purchase/borrow at Pismo? I just got new rear shocks in the mail but according to Wheelers Offroad, bumpstops are a long ways away... If anyone has some stock ones lying around that'd be perfect.

    I'm not a second gen expert.

    I bought them for the rear but the ended up being too long. You can see the smaller ones I have mounted here on the bottom of the frame rails. The bumps have SAE threads so I doubt they woudl thread into anything on the Taco, but they come with a nut if your bumps can be run like mine.
