Ever want a nice bumper at an affordable price? BTF made this custom piece for me. I got rear ended by a school bus so I cashed out the parts, saved some money and went with this! I dig it.

The rear end needs bumper caps but glassworks is the ONLY guy that makes fiberglass units and he has been impossible to get a hold of, so for now the rear looks a little hacked on the edges. I was thinking about trimming the bedsides. What'cha think?

x2, I'd try to find some caps to fill in where the old bumper went into the body or maybe black it out with some rustoleum so it's not as noticeable. Nice looking bumper though!

Yes, it's welded to the hitch so it can be removed if necessary. I agree about the caps it's just been impossible to get a hold of glassworks. I'm going to make another attempt tomorrow and try to order them through a vendor like kartek.
Thanks man, yes, bumper caps are necessary here. If I can't get them, I'm going to trim the bedside.

Sloan! Whats up bro. Played a little BF today, thoroughly enjoyable. Yea I'm thinking about trimming the bedsides but for now I'd prefer the stock look with caps. If they were fiberglass bedsides I think it would make more sense...

Oh btw, I cut my muffler off and can I just say this: a goat dipped in acid mixed with labor pains. You catch my drift? So I had it welded back. I need long tubes...

hmm now that i look at it more i really like the simplicity of it by building off the tow hitch, I just might have to use some of brandons ideas from this bumper :spy:

Yea I really liked it... I also had him flip the electrical tow input so it wouldn't get crushed. I had hit it off road before. Like I mentioned before, by welding it to the tow hitch its completely removable. I didn't want to zip tie LED's to illuminate the plate so he incorporated the OEM lights as well.
