Howzit everyone!! Been checkin out the site for a month or so. I stumbled on the forum while looking for a way not to make a mess with my oil filter during the change. I had no idea what I was in for. I now need the OME 3" Lift kit with the dakars, a pair of UCA's, and some 265/75R17's(I want to maintain some gas mileage). I have been pricing stuff out, I can get the OME kit for bout $1200, after shipping---Anyone wanna chime in on that price--good, bad, etc. I was checkin out Pro Comp's Radial All Terrain 265/75R16, They've got buy 3 get 1 free @ $217 per tire. I've read mixed reviews on the tires, any input is welcomed. I am stickin with the stock rims. And I'm workin with a 05 DCLB 4x4:D

    Aloha!!

When I got my lift from Toytec I think paid around $1500 give or take a little for the kit with shipping. For tires check out the Goodyear Duratrac. I have them and they have been great so far. Got about 7k miles/1 year on them now.

Great to have another BI member on here!

Thread revived!! Haha. Had a baby girl, so that put a temp hold on the mods...@Tigah--I was looking at 4 wheel parts in Oahu. They have deals every now and again. But as usual shipping was a buzzkill, and I have been reading so many mixed reviews on lifts, I decided to hold off on opening that can of worms on my '05. @everyone else--Thanks for the aloha.

    Congrats on your baby girl!

Whenever you are ready to look for lifts again, you're welcome to check out my setup and see if you want to go that route. Can be helpful if you can check it out in person instead of just looking on the internet, ya know? Haha :D

    Stock for now
Welcome from SoCal! Apparently my definition of "need" differs from that of my wife's. Thus, my truck is basically stock:(
