Agreed. No offense to anyone on here, we all have our inputs and opinions. It's all good. We still all drive Tacomas.

Thanks for all your valuable info guys.Once again I'm leaning toward the 6" lift (after all it was plan A.)The one thing I'm wondering about now is;How much off roading can I get away with just a Pro Comp stage 1, or should I go with the stage 2. Although wheeling is getting more costly thanks to these freaking gas prices. And yes I will regear cause of the 35s I plan to put on there. Thanks once again for your valuable and appreciated 411.

If you can afford the stage 2...get the stage 2. I got the stage 1 and plan on getting icon coilovers later. You should be able to offroad about the same with either lift, but the coilovers are nice because you can adjust the height in the front. So lets say you get new leaf packs...you may want the coilovers in that case to bring up the front to match the back. I guess it comes down to what you really want to do in the end. I hope this helps.

Actually I did exactly this....I had a 04 frontier supercharged v6 crew cab 4x4 the last version with the manual t-case....I barely ever used 4h even much less 4l....granted the system was amazing and it was a total tractor and would have been a great drive train for a sfa swap and a crawler....but when I went to get my taco I honestly didn't see a real need for 4x4 especially if I was gonna pay 6k for a feature I rarely needed in my adventures and using a t-case that I just didn't like to begin with...anything I've ever used 4wd for I could have escaped with a winch or some more prudent driving to begin with
