The standard Army class is kinda gay. You will learn the different PPE, radiation, chemicals, biological stuff, detection equipment, and decontamination. Pretty much all in power point. Not much hands on. If you're talking about the 2 week or whatever course.

If you're talking about the AIT you will learn all that and have a little more hands on.

BUT if you were to reclass to EOD...

You would have 1 month to learn in depth information about all the different warfare chemicals AND Toxic Industrial Chemical (TICs) and Toxic Industrial Materials (TIMs). Biological agents their hazards and how to identify chem/bio labs and their equipment. How to properly safe said equipment. PPE, decontamination, leak seal and packaging of chemical munitions, destruction/disposal of said materials, and much much more.

Then there would be a month on Nukes and radiation.

Then a couple weeks of WMDs.

And that's just a fraction of school lol.

    Want to go EOD??

ohh gotcha....Right now, I am looking at some schools that our command put out on a list...its what is offered at this time in Hawaii. and they had CBRN on it...so its probably that death by power point thing. oh well it get me out of the Re-deployment ceromony. and what ever gay shit that got going on at the unit. lol

EOD....naaa, already on my second MOS, first being combat engineer. Gonna try selection when I get back, and if that dont work...then civilian life...here I come. :D

All the reviews I've read are very good and I've chosen to go with them on my future rig. 650 lbs for the coilovers.

I've thought about going with Fox or King for the rear for my future rig but that's purely do to ICON not making a shock that extends to 26", their's is 24". And with the All-Pro leafs I need 26".

ohhh gotcha....I wonder if 650 lbs will be enough up front...got an ARB bumper, gonna put a winch on also...and the V6 with it too....you think 650 lbs should suffice??

Shit.... I didn't think about that. Now I might have to look into something else. I'm going with Brute Force bumpers so now I'm gonna have to look into this.

So the new MILPER officially came out today. The re-enlistment bonuses as of the 15th are for sure.

$90,000 for 6 years, of which I will see $74,500 tax free lump sum. It will technically only add 4.5 years to my contract. That's $16,555 for each additional year. Plus I get to PCS. Hopefully to Yakima WA.

Sounds like a new truck AND truck parts AND a house AND a new unit that's hopefully not as shitty as this one lol.

Apparently when you get a speeding ticket on a Military Installation and you just pay it that's admitting to a crime committed on Federal Property. Thereby it is a Federal Conviction.

I just found that out from a buddy of mine that's a cop back home.

    FML X 2!!!!

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
OME 886 coils have a spring rate of 660# and are designed for use with an after market bumper/winch combo. I think you'll be ok with the 650#.

^^^ This. I have 885s and no winch with my ARB and it is a good spring rate IMO. Only if you plan for a winch I'd go with 886s

Meh, I've never really been a big drinker anyways. I know, I know, to think an EOD Tech that doesn't really drink, not a common thing. lol.
