    Plasti-Cote on fender flares? I was considering rubberized undercoating bottom door panels leading to the fenders, and plasti-coating them, and or just doing the undercoating on them. ( a thin layer of protection ).

    I believe he means the spray on plasticoat. I dont think he would hand dip his at a plastisol shop. its easier to spray it on. I used to do plastisol

    Plastiderp is a spray can... its not something you dip parts into.

    I vote no btw, I would think that would look like absolute shit, and not provide much protection. Get some trail armor if you are worried.

    actually plasti dip is made in cans to dip tools into, hence the name plasti DIP:cool:

    ARE cap, Rhino lined bed, Custom Advantage-Max seat covers, Kenwood stereo and speakers, Debadged all emblems, blackedout grill, Off road lights, engine bay LEDs, Uniden Cb, Bedlined rockers and rims, Custom front and rear bumper, Hilo jack and mounts, Yakima load warrior, Magnaflow 14" muffler, Intake/prefilter, rebuilt frontend after accident so sort of frankensteined!!
    I did my bumpers and rocker panels, fender flares and rims in a spray bedliner material by Rustoleum and it has held up great and looks good. Also super easy to touch up and repels rust great. Also you dont have to primer with it either so I did like 3 coats on everything and 4 on the rims.

    I worked in a shop and we had 200 gallon drums of the stuff in about 20 diff colors. We could dip anything we wanted in it. Just turn on the walk in oven to 350 heat up your light bars apply the primer and dip it in. Put it back in the oven for 20-30 minutes and take it out to cool. It was a lot of fun but a pain in the ass to remove soemtimes. I guess i dont really know enough about the over the counter cans that you buy at home depot

    So all you guys think OP is considering taking off his fender flares, up to a shop, dipping them in a tub of derp, and then reinstalling them? No, as I was trying to clarify for the OP's sake, he is wanting to rattle can some derp on his truck.
