if you fit in the sierra get it. 2" more narrow will make it slightly less stable.. but I'm sure you will get used to that quickly. it will also make it much more streamline in the water, making it easier for you to paddle. It is also almost 2 feet longer, with again, will help make it go faster easier.

x2, not only will it make it faster, it will go straighter easier. every time you paddle one side or the other with that swifty the bow will go from left to right.

i used to sell kayaks, so im familiar.

i used to have a 17' by 22" wide kayak, that was a fast/straight tracking boat

fixed that for you - the specs you posted and picture are not the same though so I'm not sure you grabbed the right ones. The Sierra you have pictured does not have a drain plug and the specks say it does.

Might wanna double check that one

Whats up stranger? Long time no see. Change that avatar over to the Tundy :D

dude it's not a big deal - just letting you know the specs are off.

You can buy one for less then $10 drill a hole and throw it in there.

buy it. Just check the seams for cracks and check the bottom for what they call "canning"....flat spots from being improperly stored sitting on the hull (like in the picture)

also check the foot braces and make sure they aren't cracked - as well as the seat mounts.

also check the front and rear and make sure it wasn't dragged over road for miles and is paper thin..

Josh had some douchebags do that to some of the kayaks they had in his store....but they wore holes in them somehow lol
