I have an 08 taco with a 3" pro comp lift. I want to put 33x12.5 r18's with 18x9 wheels. I found the ones I want but I don't know what backspacing and offset I need. Any info would help. Thanks.

4.5" backspacing and then get ready to trim.

Lots of fender well plastic, and you will likely have to chop and rebox your cab mounts

Why would I have to trim? Is it because of the with or the height?

Width. I'm running the skinny 33" tires (255/85/16 on 1st Gen TRD ORs {4.5" BS}) and haven't trimmed anything.

How wide can go without trimming With 3.5 backspace?

3.5 bs and you wouldn't even be ale to fit 265s. It woud increase the turning arc too much. 4.5 is your best bet.

i just put some 285/70/17s on w/ a 3" OME Lift & i'm had to trim some fender and going to do the cab mount chop. My offset is -12mm but i dont know what backspacing i have off the top of my head. i'm thinking 4.5" though.

What's the widest tire I can run with out trimming. The wheel I have it a 18x9 with a 24mm offset. So it's about a 3.5 bs.

Return the wheel or get ready to cut your fenders. The metal portion, not the plastic well. 3.5"s aren't designed for these trucks.

You might be able to barely pull it off with 265/65/18s and a lot of trimming, but that's a far cry from the super wide tires you wanted

I do have a arb front bumper. What is the perfect tire width and wheel backspacing so I don't have to trim my cab mounts. Remember I have a 3" lift.

probably 265/75/16 on a 16x8 wheels with 4.5" backspacing. Anything larger than 265 is gonna push the limit of needing to trim so fender. i've heard some guys running 275s with no rubbing but that usually depends on the type of tire and how aggressive it is.

    Yep, this^^^

Arb bumper doesn't solve anything. They aren't designed for fitting larger tires.

So I can't get anything wider that a 10.5 in tire huh. But if I put that size on an 18x8 wheel it would make a 265/75r18 a 33.5ish x 10.5ish correct? And do you think that would work and look good with a 4.5bs wheel?

If u get a 33.5" tire, you're gonna need to trim a lot. I don't think 265 is a 33" tire but I could be wrong. I'd need to do some more research.

Ok I'm going down to a 17" wheel with a 4.5 bs. Whats the the tallest and widest it can go with a 3" lift without trimming anything.
