Thanks everyone. Well I went back yesterday and pulled some more stuff out and I looked over the truck real good. The entire front end of the truck has been pushed back a good 2-3 inches into the cab. Honestly I don't think she is going to be salvageable and if she isn't she will more than likely never drive the same again.

As far as I know the lady is ok. Her car is at the same place my truck was towed to and I talked to the guy and he said that a guy called later on that night wanting to know if he could come get the car because she had work in the morning lol little does he know the entire back end of the body has been pushed off the frame a good 6 inches.

I also haven't been able to sleep the past couple of nights which is aggravating. The pain seems to only be getting worse too.

It really does suck. When I went to the lot yesterday I about cried looking at my truck and all the damage but then I thought to myself "Well, in this cause it was probably me or the truck and I am glad it wasn't me."

Wow man just saw this, glad you're ok! I've been to Cullowhee a few times coming from the Canton/Waynesville area. I miss living in NC. Living in the 'burbs gets to me sometimes.

Glad you and everyone else is ok. That could have definitely been a lot worse. Highway accidents around here like you described almost always end with a fatality. Also, good for you for wearing your seat belt!

Thanks man! There have been a lot of bad wrecks on 365 that include fatalities. Glad I am not one of them. There was also a bad wreck that same morning around the same area that involved an 18 wheeler and another vehicle...sadly the person driving the other vehicle didn't make it.

    Sounds horrific!!
Glad the truck took most of the damage, hope your injuries aren't too bad if any?
65 at impact and to walk away makes me feel good about driving this truck.

The 06's don't have the seat air bags, started in 09.

Get another Tacoma.....get back on that horse!!

Damn, glad you're ok! As hard as it looks like you hit, the cab seems to be in good shape. +1 to Toyota for passenger protection!
