I have one on my newest build. They're nice but I've never had problems running the standard latch, even with one finger and thumb. I can see how the would help if you had thick gloves on maybe.

Charging handle. I installed a medium one on my Bushmaster rifle. It is much easier to manage with my fumble fingers.

Depends. do you have 45 extra dollars in your pocket? if yes, then get one.

I dont have them on my current two rifles but only bc standard CH came with my PSA rifle kits. I will upgrade to the GF CH on them eventualy.

on the other hand, 45 bucks can also buy a good amount of plinking ammo

 I would suggest fully upgrading accuracy skill. Then dividing your remaining skill points toward weapons handling and reload speed.

This. Take a carbine course before you buy anything other than ammo and mags. after the course replace what broke. (probably your BCG as RRA is known to have weak ones)

The last RRA one I saw was perfect. This led me to believe they have corrected the issue, but definetly all brands of BCGs should be inspected

What does it do though? I understand the glove and latch thing using the left hand etc. besides being pretty, is there a more quality feel to it? does it feel less sandy that the stocker? more sturdy? makes a better shiiiiick sound upon release?

the one I had the gas key was lose to the point it would wiggle and was not properly inspected.

also BCM posts all their specs. RRA doesnt post ANY specs of their bcg. I wonder if they could be hiding anything?

It feels much more solid and is easier to get a grip on while charging.

    http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/BCM-GUNFIGHTER-Charging-Handle-GFH-Mod-4-p/bcm%20gfh%20mod%204%20556.htm

Im in no hurry to replace my current charging handles but when/if I do it will be with another BCM CH.

and yes, it does make a better "shiiiick" sound :D

Good to go buddy! I have a cmmg lower on my carbine build and it has a great fit and finish. That upper is legit too! DD is very proud of their rails though!

Alright fellas, I pulled the trigger on some parts! Just submitted my order and I'm so anxious to get them lol

Here is what I've got coming:

BCM mid length upper with Daniel Defense 12" handguard
    BCM bolt carrier group
    BCM charging handle
Buffer tube with end plate and the weird nut
    Troy rear BUIS (says BCM)
    Troy front BUIS (says BCM)
Ten metal mags with Magpul followers

    :yay:

Thats a damn good parts list you have there! The weird nut would be a castle nut. Do you have an armorers tool yet? If not you can get by with using either a punch or a flat tip screw driver for tightening down the castle nut.
