getting really tired of these scams on CL...

trying to sell my bike and all but one response has been a scam...

they come in saying they're interested and wondering if it's still available..then come back with something similar to this...

There was a thread on here where some dude scamed the scammer. It was hilarious.

My bike is on CL, no scams so far. I have awesome luck buying and selling there. Father and son are coming to check the bike out today and probably pick it up.

Yea some people are nuts. I talked to the kid. He's like 17, but bringing his dad to check it over.

My ex gf would sell her school books on CL but would always make me go meet the person cuz she was too scared. I always road my street bike at the time and never took my helmet off hahaha

Ahh that's right. Forgot you were selling it. I was going to keep mine but who knows how long before I'll even ride it again. I'll prob go the street bike route again once I get back

I always carry at craigslist sales. I buy and sell a lot. When I sold that scooter for my mom. The first guy that wanted it was supposed to meet me in the sportsmans parking lot 3 big trucks pull up on with a trailer all around me. I got out and stretched upward to show I had a gun in my waist belt they took off. Tried to call the number it had been disconeted. I'm confident They were going to try and steal it from me.

 

who steals a scooter haha..


BTW Devin, can I drop off Cooper in the AM before work tomorrow and get him again around 330, that way I can head up to Berthoud without driving back home to get him
