ok ill break it down for ya....

spent 12 hours in car that day driving around....
2 hours to get rental kayak..then 1 hour driving to drop in point.....
then paddle money / cab fare
then 1 hour driving to pick u guys up times 2 trucks
    then1 hour back to camp......
then 2 trucks drive another 1 hour to get trucks that were left upstream
then another hour x2 trucks back to camp all in all
over $150 in gas and at least 6 hours of t=my time which is $85 an hour
    x whatever you guys make.....
then there is the extra money we spent on the capsite because we did not rent form them...and on n on n on.....

when we could have spent the 10 extra a person and had them drop us in at the drop in point that we were supposed to go to before the audable call...you made.....
so factor in all that plus pain n suffering and there you have it $1000 at the low end....
    end of story.....

I did get a really good laugh though. You do realize your story has more holes in it then the Titanic right? and you do know other people who were there will read your bullshit and then call you on it right?

    thanks for the LOL

Man has a point there. Had we not spent 2 hours getting the rental, i think we could have made the trip to camp. Thunderstorm or not.

Wait, you're not bringing that one you just got are you?

You can't logically put a motor on it.

Where you gonna put the battery/fuel? How you gonna mount the motor? Have fun pushing it through the low spots.
