Kinda SOL on stock seats with electronic movement... however you can get most of the higher end seat covers to add in heat. Wet Okole, Cat Skinz, ect... have options for such things.

Speed. Can even hear it if I shut the motor down and coast in neutral start hearing it above 30mph and if i listen closely can still hear it all the way up to 60+mph. In the video I brought it up to 40 and let it coast.

I have torn mine off, so I drilled holes and ziptied them back on for a temp fix....it's now been one year...cheap fix, they will flex now and the repair doesn't look cheesy...cost???? 6 zipties!

    Just remembered.

    The totally worthless clock.

Orange LEDs behind the dark lens. I can only read the thing when it's dark. Even with the headlights off and the clock at full brightness, can't read the thing during the daytime.

Can't wait to get my Rosen Nav unit installed and have a clock I can read.

 I really thought that I would be able to get better fuel mileage on my Tacoma. I am disappointed with the 19 mpg highway mileage that I get.

trans ratios, clutch, tiny ring gear, crappy bearings, compass fails at 50k miles, orange gauge lights, flares are too tall, bed pockets fall out, taco lean, crappy stock suspension, crappy mud flaps, paint seems kinda weak, headlights cloud, 236 hp out of a 4.0L is kinda weak this day and age -- should've at least given the new trucks dual vvt-i or a v8 option or a diesel option, crap idler bearings too

I HATE how slow it starts too -- crank crank crank crank crank crank crank crank vroom and sometimes it stumbles, hesitates, stutters, coughs, and catches... randomly.

Still... probably wouldn't be any happier with a different truck.

DC V6 Sport you're right in the ballpark.

I average 24 out of my RC Base 2.7 automatic 2wd. Best has been 26, but that was mixed. Highway high speed hammers me. I'm sure I could pull 26+ if I kept the speed down to 60 or less, but my worst tanks were 22 heading across New Mexico and Texas into Austin (basically uphill).
Only did 24 coming back "downhill" though... 80mph just hammers mileage.

There's a LOT of guys complaining about 12-16, granted they're mostly 4x4 and many have oversized tires.

    Personally, I'd be happy as a clam with 19 on a V6 Sport/Prerunner.

I think it only happens when the defrost or a/c is on. I think there is a thread on it somewhere here.

For leather heated seats take a look at katzkin leather. I had them installed in mine but I did not want the heated seat option. If you like em, ask them for the location of the nearest dealer. Most Toyota dealers can have the leather installed for you. I paid about $1000 installed.

    Hate the plastic bed
Cheesy painted cup holder, why not just leave it black?
C channel frame! 1st gen 4runners have a super stout frame.
    Non locking gas door
Plastic front bumper (it's not a car!)
The fact they make a 5 lug and 6 lug Tacoma. It's a damn truck y make a cheaper one and offer a Bedford truck as well just make one truck super strong!

Yeah for us guys with a stick we have three cup holders behind the shifter and the surface is painted silver. It scratches very easily and looks horrible

I agree. The door handles do feel a bit cheap for a higher priced truck, no fog light on/off indicator, leather is not an option, and the tires are more of a high mileage road tire...

The things I love so far in the past 11 days is the new Entune System w/ 7 JBL speakers and subwoofer, HD Radio, Bluetooth, voice recognition, the new "box"ier look, the large glove box capacity, the smooth ride, the satisfaction on knowing you are in a tight and safe truck, side view mirror turn signal indicators, the clear image on the back up camera, and the fact that every day I find something new that I love and am glad to have a TRD engineered truck. What new will I find today that I like?

    2011 Tacoma Access Cab 4wd
I've had my 11 Access Cab for about 3 months and have put 4500 highway miles on her. The paint on the front bumper must be soooo thin because I have about 10 spots that have chipped down to the plastic. I've owned vehicles for ten years that didn't have this many paint chips in a lifetime of normal driving. I will be forced to add an off road bumper just so it doesn't look so banged up. And the cloth armrest on the door??? 3 months old and my bony elbow has already warn a spot in it...it is literally thinning out to the point that it will have a hole by summer. I might remove the panels and replace with a canvas or sailcloth material. And the cabin has a lot of ticks, rattles, pops. The engine has a lot of rattles, pinging, and clicking. But I still love this truck. I also drive a 2011 Porsche Spyder and I look forward to driving the truck more! The proof is in the mods. I've spent zero on modding the Porsche but I'm going broke with stuff I'm buying for the Taco. I have so many items on order that i can't even remember what's in transit to my house right now! Avid light bar being built, Body Armor sport rack in transit, Toytec leveling kit sitting on the kitchen counter! I love the looks...reminds me of the little Stomper trucks I played with as a kid.
