Me too... Sometimes can be scary! GT Grabber is a Baja race tire. DOT version is just harder (and quieter)

Both tires are Mud Terrains.. Not meant for snow or winter driving..

..then again I live in SoCal.. whats snow and/or winter?

I got the Toyo's because of their high ratings as a Daily Driver / Weekend Warrior tire..

Well im on my second set of Grabbers and i never have a problem in snow, and i live up in the mountains and it does snow once in a while. We were on a snow run last year and they performed very well. I was traveling between 5 and ten mph and climbing up hill and they did excellent. Sometimes reviews are false. Ad as for sand. i have had no issues in the sand like i did with the BFG AT KO's. So all in all i say they are great in all conditions. NUff Said!

I think all the tires mentioned so far are excellent choices, I think it really comes down to personal preference and driving style..

The majority of my driving is city / freeway with the occasional romp in the desert.. For me it seems these had best balance between on/off road performance..

I think I might even do a review on these, as these will be my first aftermarket AT tire..

I cant thank Matt (reckless) and Krish (rcfreak) enough for making this possible, if you need wheels and tires, talk to them!!

This is my first set of Grabbers for the Tacoma. Before that I had Toyos and they also got 50k. I ran the non DOT race tire on my Dodge and that was an awesome off road tire but not good on the pavement ( not supposed to be) but they were free and I was thankful. I agree with you 100% the Grabber is an awesome tire! Toyo, GY MTR, KM2 are also good tires though I am not a big fan of BFGs. I think when I was up in Big Bear in the snow I had too much air, hence the bad performance. All in all the GT Grabber is my fav tire and I am blessed to be a part of their race program.

I had open country AT 285s and they just sucked donkey dick offroading. The sidewall was weak, and they chunked up a lot but they were super quiet on the street.
The 35" grabbers I currently have are freaking amazing! The grip on and Offroad is unbelievable. I'm able to stop and start moving again in the same places that I would've gotten stuck in with the ATs. The noise road is surprisingly very minimal for how beefy they are. I haven't had issues in sand like a lot of guys are saying. Rocks, mud, sand, dirt, water, I've gone through it all perfectly fine, I have yet to run in snow though. The tread wear is awesome as well. I would go for the grabbers anyday

oh so the toyo's you were saying sucked donkey dick were the ATs, not MTs?

oh well...I'm sure I'll bring this all up again when I'm ready to purchase haha :D

and to move onto another subject....I have a quick question for u electrical/wiring guys...

I'm installing my CB and PA speaker today but my PA speaker just has plain speaker wire and the CB radio's output jack is 1/8" jack (3.5mm?)

does radioshack sell something I can connect the speaker wire into this 1/8" jack? or can I just cut off like cheap headfones and ghetto rig it?

My dad put 60k miles on his toyo mt 35s in 15 months and my uncle drove cross country on his toyo mt 37s and put 40k total miles in 9 months before he sold the truck

Toyo mt is a badass tire if I ever get a mt tire it would be that one without question
