What year is your truck? You will have a fuse panel under the steering wheel, there's a coin try thing in place of a beauty board in the 2nd gen iirc, and look for one that say's interior light I believe. I know that the gauge lights are fused with one of the fuses in the middle and I believe the 2nd one from the top. Just turn the ignition off and pull fuses.

"Year led", I'm not sure what you mean here. There may be a bulb out but that wouldn't affect every bulb in the cluster, we have 7 I believe. Do you have an after market radio? What fuses have you checked?

Illumination I believe it's called. Check under the steering wheel dash area and you'll see it to the far left as of you were sitting in the seat and there is a diagram on the back of the panel that you'll pull off.

mine tripped me up once, i was replacing my a/c control and some of the cables and i had the dimmer disconnected and i tried turning on the lights and they didn't turn on so i though the bulbs were blown so i replaced them with the ones from my old one (which i knew were good) and it still didn't work and then it dawned on me it was unplugged and that was the whole reason for them not working.

Ok so Ive removed my gage cluster, inspected the bulbs and replaced the larger bulbs in place for the back lighting for my spedometer and tach. I still have no back lighting and the dimmer is plugged in. It all started when I was replacing a bulb on my trd supercharger gage. The key was on when i replaced a bulb and it sparked. so i turned key off to replace and now there is no back lighting. all the other lights on my dash work like seat belt rear diff ect... I cant find any burned out fused under my dash or under the hood.:( Any other suggestions? or do you think I need to take it to toyota?
